You will either be picked up from your hotel in Kigali or from Kigali international airport upon arrival then be transferred to the Volcanoes National Park. Depending on your arrival time, you will pass via the volcanoes park headquarters where you will pick your gorilla trekking permits before proceeding to the lodge for check in, dinner and overnight.

As soon as you are done with breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for gorilla trekking briefing where you will meet with other different trekkers from different parts of the world all ready for gorilla trekking adventure in Volcanoes national park. While on briefing, you will be told about the rules and regulations while in the wildness of mountain gorillas. After the briefing you are free to hire a porter in case you need one or even two then off to the forest start the fascinating search of habituated mountain gorillas and after spotting there, spend an hour with them interacting with them and taking photographs as desired. After spending an hour, you will return to the lodge to freshen up as you await dinner.

After breakfast as usual, you will check out of the lodge to meet your driver and be driven to Nyungwe forest national park a home to 13 primate species, equivalent to primate in Kibale forest national park of Uganda, you will enjoy an enroute lunch while dinner will be at the lodge after check-in.

Enjoy an early breakfast, then pack some snacks and water as you prepare to be transferred to the park headquarters of Nyungwe forest national park for a briefing. After the briefing, you will penetrate the forest with the armed rangers to start the chimpanzee trekking safari. Chimpanzee trekking in Nyungwe forest national park takes a half day but only one hour of close range between you and a chimpanzee is allowed. After chimpanzee trekking you will be returned to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. Spend an afternoon on a canopy walk in Nyungwe forest where you will be in position to spot several species of primates including monkeys, chimpanzees and mammals such as Elephants in the forest without fording several forest birds and a clear view of the entire Nyungwe forest national park from a tree top height. In case you are not in for a canopy walk, then opt for a guided forest walk via different trails since Nyungwe forest has plenty of walking trails that lead to fascinating attractions such as waterfalls, rivers etc.

After breakfast on day 5, you will check out of the lodge then be driven back to Kigali with a stopover at the palace and some genocide memorial sites where plenty of Rwandese were murdered in cold blood during the 1994 genocide. Enjoy an enroute lunch and then proceed to Kigali city where you will check in at your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Enjoy your breakfast at your hotel in Kigali then be driven to the eastern part of Rwanda to Akagera National Park via rolling hills of Rwanda while viewing the coffee plantations and green vegetation cover. Akagera national park is situated far towards Tanzania boarder thus you will enjoy an enroute lunch and once you arrive at the park, you will check in at the lodge, have a relaxed evening as you await dinner and have an overnight stay.

After breakfast, head out to start your wildlife viewing safari with an early morning game drive in the wilderness of Akagera national park the most beautiful savannah national park in Rwanda where you are able to spot a huge population of mammals including Lions, Elephants, Buffaloes, Giraffes, and many mammals plus birds, butterflies and the thrilling vegetation cover at large. After the game drive, you will be driven back to your lodge for lunch. Afternoon boat cruise tours on Lake Ihema, you will spend enough time on boat cruise at Lake Ihema where you will view aquatic species, semi aquatic species and other different species of fauna and flora along the shores of the lake Ihema. Amongst wildlife seen while on Lake Ihema boat cruise include as Hippos, crocodiles, Zebras, and plenty of water birds among others.

Arise for breakfast on the last day, be served with breakfast and later on check out of the lodge to be transferred to Kigali city for a brief city tour especially in the markets such as Kimironko market for some souvenirs and crafts. Later on be driven to Kigali international airport for departures or any place of you stay as you close the safari.
