Day 1: Kigali to Akagera National Park & Genocide Memorial
Morning City Tour • Afternoon Game Drive
In the morning you will be picked up in Kigali and do a short city tour where you will visit Kigali Genocide Memorial and learn much about the history of the country. Then later be transferred to Akagera National Park and enjoy your lunch on the way. Scenic countryside drive followed by an afternoon short game drive across the southern part of the park. Relax at your lodge overlooking Lake Ihema as the sun sets.

Day 2: Full Day Safari in Akagera National Park
Big 5 Safari • Bush Lunch
Early breakfast, then set off for a full day safari through Akagera's northern savannah where there is a chance to spot lions, rhinos, elephants, buffalos, leopards and herds of antelope and different species of birds. Bush lunch with breathtaking views. Evening at leisure with sundowners.

Day 3: Akagera to Volcanoes National Park
Scenic Drive • Arrive in Musanze
Depart Akagera after breakfast and drive north through rolling hills and vibrant villages. Arrive in Musanze for dinner and relaxation amid the Virunga Volcanoes.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking & Iby'Iwacu Cultural Center
Gorilla Encounter • Cultural Experience
Morning briefing at park headquarters, then venture into Volcanoes National Park for your once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trek. Spend an hour with the gentle giants of the forest. Afternoon relaxation or cultural visit at Iby'Iwacu Village.

Day 5: Return to Kigali & Departure
Morning Departure • Optional Craft Shopping
