Location
Nyungwe National Park is located in southwestern Rwanda, spanning over 1,000 square kilometers of montane rainforest. This ancient forest is one of the oldest in Africa, dating back to before the last Ice Age. The park is situated in the Albertine Rift region and is accessible from various entry points, with the main gate located near the town of Kitabi. It's approximately a 4-hour drive from Kigali.
